May's late blog

As always there is a lot going on here at Beyond Eternity Promotions Ltd and lots of very exciting news. We'll let you know some of it now, and then update you with the rest next week!

In the first instance I am sure you will be delighted to know that Phil Cool is doing really well after his quadruple heart bypass operation on April 12th and is all set to go back on tour on June 24th when he will be at Stamford Corn Exchange and then The Grand at Clitheroe the night after.

If you are of a certain vintage you will be able to recall that the first pop boyband was of course The Bachelors. Recently we were thrilled to be asked by original band member John Stokes to take responsibility of their theatre show bookings and thus with Jimmy Cricket and our Van Morrison tribute, they become our third Irish themed show that we have taken on this year - they won't be the last either! Watch this space.

This week we have a performance of 'Seance' at Theatre on the Steps in Bridgnorth on Saturday, but before that, on Thursday we commence with a new project of ours.

For a while we have wanted to diversify and become involved with sponsoring and promoting visual artists. On Thursday night we are presenting an evening with Cheltenham photographer Alison Morgan (a sample of her work appears at the top of this blog) at D'Fly in Cheltenham. If you are in the area at 8 p.m. pop in and see for yourself what a real talent Alison is. And stay posted for other visual artists that we shall be promoting in the months to come - all of which will in due course be featured on our website.
